About me

I’m a Senior Product Designer with over 7 experience years designing complex digital products across mobile and web. I’ve been a graphic designer for over 20 years. I studied Graphic Design in Cape Town at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, graduating in 2003. In 2008 I moved to the UK to work for Oxford University Press in Oxford. In 2017 I began working for tech startups in Oxford, before starting at Procode as their Senior Product Designer in 2024.

I’m experienced in translating technically complex systems — including AI-driven software and data-heavy platforms — into intuitive product experiences. I’m a strong collaborator with engineering and product teams, with particular focus on design systems, interaction design, and simplifying complex workflows.

National Diploma in Graphic Design from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town. Graduated in 2003.

In my day-to-day practice, I leverage Figma AI design tools to accelerate my daily workflow—using them as an iterative partner for rapid UI exploration and automated layout tasks. Beyond standalone design, I collaborate closely with engineering teams to pioneer cutting-edge code-to-design and design-to-code workflows, utilising advanced Figma MCP integrations to drastically tighten feedback loops, and sync design tokens with production code.

Software skills

Fluent in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects. Proficient in CSS and HTML.
