Sported
Freelance web design for Sported — a charity supporting youth sports clubs in underserved, deprived, or off-the-radar areas.I was tasked with updating their site to make it more accessible, responsive and modern.
I was given a very basic brand bible, from which I then created a design system in Figma - logos, graphics, icons, colours, typography and buttons. The intention behind this was to design the site in Wordpress and then hand the site over to the internal Sported team, so I kept the design lean and straightforward and reusable via template in Elementor/Wordpress.
Based on the shape of the checkmark within the primary Sported logo, I created a set of screens in Figma which we iterated on several times. after approval from the Sported organisation, I moved the design into Squarespace and created the entire website using the Elementor plugin.
